I know there is a lot of hate for the Hoe Down card but I actually like the iMG boost. I also don't mind repairing my hoe all the time. With that said the Mood for repairing card is also one of my favorites.
Upgrade card games I like Radial Heights and Mountain scaling.
Loved the quoin multiplier cards and I actually liked the hoe upgrade for the extra img, but gamewise I adore radial heights (it got me to 60 right quick!) and I kinda dig abysmal thrill. But the new cloud levels are also just gorgeous.
I second everything Cleops said about the game cards (Bippity Bop and Abysmal Thrill make me dizzy; love Sky Plunge, Beam Me Down, Slip and Slide, Cloud Rings). I also like the "shake your elements" upgrade! Fun and random.
I agree with the above about the mood boost for fixing tools and the get out of hell free. I basically don't ever worry about carrying a bunch of drinks around with me like I used to. And the amount of hell cards I've been storing up is pretty awesome. I don't have a huge energy expenditure per day due to my style of play and if I did I'd probably need to eat more food, but as it is now, I'll make certain sammich and cheese based items to put in my street and buy from cafes once in a while for the img bonus but don't have to worry too much about feeding my Glitch.
I was going to post a new thread to ask this but I'll try here first!
I'm at level 16 and have a brain capacity of 32, does this seem like less than normal? I've purchased every upgrade that's come up, it seems like so few though. Just want to be reassured they will pop up sooner than later. :) Also, the longer they take are they more expensive or does it depend how many you've already purchased?
32 seems pretty good to me. They'll keep popping up until you hit a capacity of 60. I think they get more expensive as you level or as you get more capacity. I'm not sure which though, exactly.
ETA: My favorite card is Mountain Climbing because it gives me favor with Zille. Well, really, I like them all a lot. Radial Heights sort of gets frustrating sometimes. I love the music of Sky Plunge. Bippity Bop is also fun.
Abysmal Thrill is nice for the bonus queazy quoin, but otherwise frustrates me. Not enough control to get the quoins in any sort of graceful or even efficient way. I love Starlit Night, Bippity Bop, Slip N Slide, and Arbor Hollow--they're my favorites--but I play all of them.
And between my high energy tank and get out of hell free cards, I don't really have to make or buy food anymore. Even if I'm burning through energy like crazy, I can still get out of hell free (full tank 1), revere icons (full tank 2), and run through the Ancestral Lands (full tank 3+, depending on quoin limit for the day).
Nearly at my 100% quoin multiplier now so I've really needed those ones! I agree with WalruZ about the mood boost for fixing tools - but for the upgrade game cards it's cloud rings for me! Just love it!
Happy tinker, hands down. It gives you a new way to manage mood that otherwise you don't get to use at all. Quion multiplier is fun, and when it adds up can get stout, but even a 1.0x card doesn't give you as much as the tinker card.
Hoe down gets a lot of vinegar, but hoe down + happy tinker means you always have a way to get happy quickly.
