General Tower Question

Sorry if i missed this somewhere else but

If i build a tower all the way up to 9 floors - does that then stop me being able to access any extra goodies (like im assuming balconies) that might be coming in future updates?

• That has not been stated but I can't think of a time when that has ever been the case with anything else in glitch.
  
  (Unless you count the towers being un destroyable and taking up cultivate space...)
