Gardeners: Decrease your Key Presses! Discover the Efficient Plot Management Method!
Who knew gardening would be such hard work? I may have a green thumb, but it comes with a black and blue index finger. So many button presses! Is this the way it has to be?!
No! Not with the "Hit and Hold" method.
Harvest, Clear, Plant, AND Water a plot with only TWO KEY PRESSES!
Once you have a bloomed plot selected, Hit and Hold 'Enter' until the plot is harvested and cleared, and the seed selection box comes up. Then, Hit and Hold 'Enter' to plant and water.
That's it! Happy Harvests!

- I just tried this and got so many "Slow down!" messages that I gave up. Maybe my computer is just a bit underpowered.

Until TS decides to cancel the possibility to hold the enter key, because people are spamming the servers with it.

EDIT: my suggestion would be to release an upgrade card to clean/harvest ALL the plots in 1 click :D (mostly cuz I play with 800 ping :P) - This is amaaaaaaaaazing. Thank you!

My poor wrist was hurting from the repetitive movements, hence I had to back off on playing for a while! Now maybe I can get back to gardening again!
EDIT: Just scrolled back and read some comments - Please don't disallow this practice, TS - my wrist would be most grateful! -
I think TS just improved this again; now planting works holding down Enter too (at least if you have only a single kind of seed)!
Edit: aww, they broke it again, with an update just now :( - Janitch: you sure? It works for me (whether the plot needs water or not). This is a great hack, btw! SO much easier.

Yeah, for a while the seed selection dialog didn't come up, so you could go through all actions. Now, the seed selection dialog is back (even if you have only a single type of seed) so you get stuck there.
What I meant was that it was improved briefly, then reverted. - A lot of us discovered this back in the day of the great "gardening is a leisure activity update" when TS changed the timing and we've been just holding down enter for several months now. So much easier and works every time! An upgrade card would be easier BUT this hack has worked for months so hopefully TS doesnt take it away :)
- Janitch, the problem was that the seed selection was never coming up in those circumstances, so if you had a lot of seeds the game would just pick one. That wasn't really a feature. =)
- I tried this while gardening and noticed I get a lot less super harvests this way. Does anyone else experience this?

I haven't noticed any difference in my average number of super harvests -- in fact, I just got six super harvests in a row using this technique.
I know that's not proof that I wouldn't have gotten more had I used a slower method, but at least it shows such runs are possible -- and that sates my curiosity!
