Wowza! Love the new tree super harvests!
It may be only 5 grain per chicken squeeze (although stoot says we'll soon be loving sqeezing chickens), but the tree harvests are fantastic with the super harvest update. I get 48 on nearly every harvest. A single pass through ix netted 12 full stacks of spice and a partial pass through groddle forest (not even hitting the gravy streets on the south) gave me 13 stacks of beans. As a dedicated awesome stew maker, I used to find it somewhat tedious to keep up these supplies, but now it's pure joy!

could you guys tell which specific series of cards has boosted you up to that magic 96 number ? -
The super harvest cards, I assume! Tree Hugger I II and III, plus special cards that increase your super harvest chances with each tree.
IE Eggier Harvest: Inspired understanding of Egg Trees, which increases your chance of a 4X harvest. -
Yes, so it's:
Eggier harvest
Beanier harvest
Gassier harvest
Spicier harvest
Fruitier harvest
Bubblier harvest
Although you probably have to have some of the tree related upgrades mentioned above before they come up. - Sooo.... in-game food is partially nerfed. great.

- I've been imagining all the joy on the resources routes after the housing resets, and the routes can be remade. Joy, joy, joy!
- But seriously guys, quiet down ;) It could be a typo in the superharvest percentage mathematics like the 16k brain capacity cards! For all we know they meant it to be 60% and accidentally clicked 90%!

Unless some compassionate Glitch kills all the trees.... - But they have inherent value Walruz xP An egg will still be 5 energy no matter how many there are. So, I'm finding that part pretty useful at least xD I'll worry about long term economic implications when they arise. For now, vapour, at least, is more expensive than ever :(

- @liza I don't know what's gone wrong but for me it's not 90% 4xSH, it's 100%. The only time I don't get one is when the tree gives me a bonus item. I have to 'fess up to having filled a bigger bag of each item on the basis it won't last! In fact I might go out and do the gas again, as that's normally so hard to accumulate!
- Yeah, I have to say you're right Geeky ;) I really get the superharvests closer to like 95-98% of the time xD Very seldom do I NOT get one.

- It seems worse now than it was before iMG. I like, hardly ever get a super harvest now.
- Not sure if its fixed. It went from nearly 100% which was obviously broken to close to 0% which also seems broken. I tried harvesting close to two dozen times from bubble trees only to get a single super harvest.
- I got two or three SH's out of about 20 or 30 harvests just now. fwiw.
- If it gets "fixed", I want my points back that I spent on the cards.

- Perhaps the 4x super harvest is supposed to get us back to where we were before the iMG switch? ie you get twice as much but with half the frequency...

Yeah, but it's not twice as much :P It's from 3 times to 4 times. We got 24 + the orignal harvest is 36 before. Now we get 36 + the original harvest is 48.
Though I'm sure the low frequency is a balance issue they'll fix, same as the overly high frequency we were seeing before ;) They'll find the balance! - I haven't had a single super harvest in this game day so far, much less than before the switch to imagination, so much for the cards!

(Note to self: keep up on all current events) - Moral of the story: to NOT tell the world when something is profitable and going well. Though the rainbow festivals were making it hard to hide, of course.

The Super Harvests have been fixed, and then some.
I have a path of exactly 43 trees that I've used since I first joined the game. Out of 86 harvests, only 5 resulted in a super harvest, approximately 5%. I don't know what the exact rate was before, but it seemed a lot closer to 10% or 15% which is still pretty small.
I wish the update was more balanced. I agree the 95% bug was off the wall crazy, but now I'm getting fewer bonuses than before the iMG switch, even with the extra crop per bonus. It feels like I payed more to get less. Would something like 30% really be that horrible? -
i figured they would nerf the super harvests after this weekend. the rainbows were - i'm guessing - a source of the lag that has been going on.
that said - i agree - this should balance out to what it was before - more like 20-30%. I would get a super harvest every 3 or 4 trees. Now - like some of you - i'm getting them once every few streets if that.
hopefully they will tweak it back to something more normal. -
I went from ALL SUPERHARVESTS ALL THE TIME to basically none.
So, what is to become of all those upgrades I purchased? I'm now getting much, much less than pre-iMG. -
I'm sure adjustments will be made. I don't think that there is a lack of resources at all. In one quick run through maybe 2/3 or Groddle Forest with the uber-upgrades, I could get between 4500 and 5000 beans. I made Awesome Stews by the bushelful (I have maybe 5000 saved up at the moment) and even I don't need that many beans.
Just keep playing, do your thing, earn your imagination and have fun! That's what Glitch is about! -
I asked in LH if we'd get refunded for the upgrades which turned out to be worthless (I harvested through 4-5 streets with only one harvest above bare minimum, with ALL the skills and ALL the upgrades).
If this is how bad it is for maxed-out players, I shudder to think how awful it will be for new players. -
I agree, and wonder that same thing, Aviatrix. It must be beyond awful for new players.
I hate it, I'm not getting any superharvet now. Before the change to iMG I would get more than what I'm getting now. Why couldn't be just the way it was before today? It was great. :/ - Yeah. But then resources would probably go down to less than a currant per unit...
- I doubt that would ever happen. The stuff is too useful. The supply would be huge, but demand would be too. I don't see why we can't keep the old level... ;)

Before the change to iMG, you got (on average) a little under 5% less than you do now. The super harvests are slightly less frequent, but they are 4x bonuses instead of 2x.
So, as "awful" as this may be, it's more than you were getting a week ago :) - Will we ever see additional cards to make them at least a little better? xD I would be fine paying whatever iMG that required xD...

- I agree with Misanthrope, I would be glad to pay whatever iMG takes to get super harvest more often that is currently happening. It would be amazing if we could have this alternative.

I have max skills, all 4x harvest tree cards.....
Harvested 55 trees, 2 times per tree = 110. I have gotten 3 SH out of them all.
This is BROKEN.
