Poll for "new updates" Mods please close.
I created a poll at http://www.addpoll.com/aero/poll/159267 . I really like the new update, what are your thoughts?

That's because the Disgruntled are motivated to post. The Happy carry on playing the game, enjoying themselves
It's the same in any forum anywhere, for anything. And in RL too. You might go to Customer Services with a complaint but few would go to say 'well done, everything is as it should be'
So it's a Hell Yeah! from me - Hell yeah! :)

You can never judge the overall feeling of any group of people just by looking at the small self-selected set who choose to voice an opinion. It's pretty much guaranteed to be an unrepresentative sample. The only reasonable indicator would be in the stats that TS (almost certainly) collect about how many people play, for how long, what they do, etc.
This survey will be equally unreliable, and the very fact that it's showing a different slant to that which some folk expected really just proves the point.
For what it's worth, I'm a "Hell Yeah!". -

Will create a poll in two weeks on the same topic. Please keep pushing the votes... Im sure we have more than 300 glitches... :P - Odd... I answered early on and at first it was about 75-85% "Hell yeah!" positive. I'm wondering if the poll got abused by someone. It seems odd it would shift so severely away from how it was near the beginning. :-/
- After taking a day to get to 150 votes, this poll got a second 150 votes (all "disappoint") in an instant … I don't think it is all that accurate ;)
- The update added more incentive to play Glitch, and the more reason I have to play the better.
- Another poll with built in self-selection bias. Such polls look ok to the unwary but they have no real validity.
- Yea... I think someone has been messing with the votes. Using a proxy to vote (as its ip+cookie based block system) I guess the accurate way would be to do an internal vote. I will post the pdf file of all the votes
- Yeah - notice that the "ok" option has so few votes. (Nice to see that most people don't outright hate it, though! Lots of times, polls seem heavy on the extremes, because people who are more opinionated are more likely to bother voting).
- Imagination ROCKS,...yes it is different, yes it is a change but disappointed? Nope :) not in the least!

I can not guarantee if people use a proxy to vote. Maybe we should conduct an internal vote. - Even if no one used a proxy, there's no way to tell if all those voters actually play the game, so a vote using the account authentication option would likely be more accurate.

I went through and deleted the rows submitted between12:51 and 14:22 that largely consisted of someone likely using a proxy to spam the "disappointed" option. (You can see it quite clearly on the PDF.) Here's the results with that time frame removed. :)
So, of the 172 votes that look legitimate:
Hell yeah! = 110 votes (64%)
It is ok... = 40 votes (23%)
I am disappointed :( = 15 votes (9%)
Nooo... Hate it! = 7 votes (4%)
Edit: Oh, and there was 1 person that responded that they were new. - How 'bout we get a Survey right here? That way we would only get a few alts spamming....
