Global Chat

Just got back into G after awhile away (having a baby and major surgery made an odd dent in the rest of my life, imagine). Now when I comment in Global Chat, it tells me "You are not in that group." Whuh? I don't see anything here about an update to Global Chat that would boot me out; I haven't made any untoward comments; is this something new?

  • It's a form of a bug I believe but the quick fix is closing the window and reopening it :)

  • thanks. It happens each time I get on. Guess I'll have to make the "Shake It All About" hop part of my login procedure. (You log your avatar in, you boot your avatar out, you log your avatar in, and shake it all about... You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around 'cause that's what it's all about.)

  • Do not do the hokey pokey.  It causes Flash errors.  That's what it's all about.
