Frekin Pigs!

I guess glitchen like to manufacture pigs, but piggies never die.  It's getting to where many streets are hip deep in the annoying boogers, always trying to get in between my pick and the rock.  I try explaining that this isn't minecraft, but do pigs listen?

We need a new powder.  Some kind of hideous nano genetic stuff that will instantly turn a whole street full of pigs into piles and piles of steaming pork chops.  And then braise them!

  • Why not pack a Potion of Animal Youth? While it won't turn them into pork chops, they won't be bothering you after they've been turned into piglets. And you can donate them for Favor or sell them for currants too.

  • Well I do like that idea.  Still, I long for the sweet whine of millions of deadly little butcher-nanites.  Kind of like tiny robot-piranha-gnats...  how cute would that be!

  • You actually can't sell/donate baby animals. Not sure about the selling.

  • If there's no trees nearby, the piggies will die soon enough. I myself get a little tear in my eye when I see a street with 14 piggies on it, because at 8 meats per pig, I leave that street 102 meats thicker. Now the mine chickens...those I would like to have the ability to swing around like a helicopter until their little red heads....ya know the rest. Chicken dagger, anyone?

  • Sure you can, I've sold a crapload of piglets, about 400c each.  But you can't sacrifice <<<<<<<< donate a hogtied piggie, sadly.

  • You definitely can donate baby animals, just not hogtied piggies.

Oh, I didn't refresh the page and see Finger already said this.

  • I think there is some limit to the number of animals before they start dying.  Or is that only chickens?  Anyway, I sometimes wonder if that number could be tweaked down a bit in the interest of faster street loads.  I don't think that this would result in a shortage of resources by any means.  When I was grinding for broken kitchen tools and needed more grain, I visited just 6 blocks on my street and had over 3000 grain.

  • I'd rather have too many piggies than too few. If a potion was developed to wipe out an entire street population, there would suddenly be no piggies for miles.

They'll eventually die. It's a thing they do sometimes.

  • They die if you bring them home and starve them.  :)

  • I started my housing block out with 6 piggies. In a week they were all hog tied & carted off.

Undeterred, I made a new batch of 6.

    Now, there are 16!?!?

  • Your conclusions are wrong. The first six actually arranged tourneys to the death which killed the first five. Then the last glutted himself on the remains of his friends and died of cholesterol-related heart failure.

Then the next batch of six was just significantly more peaceful. And also frisky ;) And lo, there were 16 piggies.
