Yay for the Rube :) Good deal! Good deal!!
I ventured out onto my street to find the Rube who offered me cauldron's for every trade which I declined...then I imbibed an essence of rubeweed and appearing once more the first offer was the Ludwig doll for my grand ol' grinder :D :D ...I am not exaggerating when I say that I cried..tears of joy. I think I should switch off the lappy now and watch a DVD. This is as good as it's going to get today :D :D :D

Essence of Rube was my next venture. Purchased a tinct...thingy. Rounded up the seeds, (thanks to a very nice glitch who gifted me several seeds!!!). Visited an herb garden. Bought hooch online. Found a quiet place to work. Banged out some 5 essences of rube! First 3 tries were nothing. Fourth, being the charm...Ludwig for my GOG...you bet! Miss P, yeah I did straight after he disappeared! The last few game days he's been appearing on my house street. He's never done that before either. I'm not complaining though. I gots me a dolly and that's all I care about hehehehehehehe (note to all readers - that was intentionally crap english :) -
Miss P: You can't use essence twice in a single game day.... Casarat means that she got a regular visit, didn't take it, THEN used essence.... hope this helped

I got a Fred doll today. I've got Ayn too before. I used rube essence for both of them, both many many months apart. I called him at every opportunity and only took the 5th choice if it was good. I play most days and have put a lot of time in to it. This time he took my super scraper, I tend to keep a good range of stuff and all the better tools.
This time he offered me a great deal on 3 too, a grand ol grinder for a seed. Fred Doll was on the 5th trade.
:D - I got a Friedrich Nietzsche Doll from rube for a grand ole grinder today.
- I got a frying pan for a bean... Nothing extravagant, but I was happy :D
- I don't understand why everyone gets so excited about those dolls. What makes them so special?

Bashere, we all like the game for lots of reasons. I quite like collecting rare items. One day I'd like to at least opened up most of the things available in game. Maybe not owned them all, say like a glitch yeti, or the mythical music block. But I can at least try at those we know how to get.
I've got all the icons, all the music block sets, the gng and fun pickle, and the trophies and done all the quests. Apart from the one doll, and about 4 cubimals, I'm nearly out of things to do before the update. So this keeps me busy, and keeps me playing in such a beautiful game. -
Do the dolls give you any advantage in-game? Can you place them in your house on the shelf as a trophy? Do they restore energy or give you a boost to mining?
I'm just wondering, because I've found three different dolls in the past and just threw them up on the Marketplace to earn cash. Just wondering what the allure is...
