Its been such a long time since an update.......
It has been such a long time since a Dev (or stoot) came in forums and gave us a VERBAL or WRITTEN WORD update. I hate to be a bother, but I'm curious how things are going. What is coming up the pipe? Any new projects we can hear about? Whats the next thing coming up?
Any nibbles for us, please? We are bored, and antsy.

I finished all my learning, my poor rock is bereft of work. I also would like a progress update, even if its just to say the progress bar on update is at 50% we don't NEED spoilers, just know you're all happy with how things are going. :)
I lobe them too. - I've been drifting into another MMOG, but I miss my Batty's. I wish there was as much to do here as the other.

- Those skills have been in that picture for quite a while, but it's no guarantee that they'll actually be part of the game any time soon, if at all. Items, too, appear and disappear without ever being added to the game itself. Hopefully staff will answer the OP's question.

I kinda thought that when we had the questions and answers channel and all that info from stoot-
I kinda thought back then that the powers-that-be said something like " we hear your request for news and updates and will update more often "
... but maybe i imagined that (ha ha ) . - hahaha, that's what I thought serenity *waves back* However, one question and answer series 3-4 weeks ago does not equal often.

- They read daily, I believe :) Doesn't mean they always have something to say ;)
- It hasn't been the 8 weeks yet that they estimated the next update would happen. I'm getting impatient too, but I'm not going to start complaining outside my own head until the 8 weeks is up. They are working on MASSIVE fundamental changes, and want to get that going before they add other more minor things. Just breathe... use your meditation ball... people aren't so strange...
- Based on the original estimate, we should have to wait about 3 weeks more for the next major update. It's just around the corner folks.
- I think they mean a verbal update, folks ;) Just something to let us know they're on schedule, perhaps? Or let us know they're behind, etc.
- AhI A timeframe update would be nice and will play with the minds of those who joined Liza's betting pool.

I meant verbal update......like communication of some sort. Asking for communication is no reason to get all uppity and say I'm complaining when I'm not. Maybe re-read my original post, without the tone of voice you had in your head.
A 30 second forum post really isnt too much to ask for, IMO. - boo

Professor usterki, I'm not sure what you are thinking of, but those skill images can be found on this page ( http://www.glitch.com/profiles/me/skills/ ) if you look at the background image that was used: http://c1.glitch.bz/img/skill_table_73379.png
It was easy to guess the names of the skills based on that picture, then replacing the revision number at the end of the URL with trial and error based on other skill image URLs. - tom, isnt that an old page?

I'll tell you what has me concerned. If it's taking months to push out this new content to users who are dropping by the wayside because they have "done everything", what does that say about the ability to push out new content following the housing update? All my RL friends that play glitch have moved onto other pastures, and you can see that many more have done so by visiting any housing block and walking down a random street and profiling the player names on the doors. Websites that are losing users and eyeballs are in trouble.
I don't believe the devs read these forums that much, no matter what some other users say. - Oh but we do read them WalruZ. A new update isn't far off; we're working as hard as ever and are excited about what's to come.
- Innie, which page are you referring to? The skills page isn't really an old page - it's still being used actively?

Patience is a virtue. Since we are back in beta, don't be ashamed to explore other worlds while the staff diligently continues working on making this game moar awesome. No need to get burnt out on the game before it goes back to live! Only test when you feel up to it! If you are not having fun, taking some time off is not the worst thing in the world. It's not like the current MMO's on the market became great overnight. (I am not advocating quitting Glitch, but managing time spent in Glitch to avoid burnout)
We all know that a complete overhaul of housing is on the horizon, right? That's not official, but I assumed that was the "next big thing" being worked on. -
I assume many small things is worth one BIG thing, given the new housing coming out in a few weeks and nothing much else
