UPDATE: Longest Running Toxic Moon Party Ever in the History of Ur - Casualty of Server Reboot
At 12:03:42 PST p.m., (3 min after noon, also around the time staff will be noming on some awesome stew or something in Van and SF, AND last but not least in the least 20.03 GMT. ) we will celebrate the 1 week anniversary of the longest running Toxic Moon party in the history of Ur. If you are a member of the party come and celebrate with us. Hope to see you there!!
Don't forget to toss some Moon Credits into the ATM!!
Update:
Tomorrow at the above time we will hit our one MONTH anniversary!! Don't let the moon die folks! If you are in the party concider swinging on up there and adding a few minutes. ((((big moon hugs))))
Update: Yesterday, Feb 17, we passed the one Ur-year mark.
Final Update: Last night Glitch servers were rebooted and the Epic Toxic Moon Party was lost.

Not sure who exactly started the gorgeous columns of small shiny objects in the bouncy air vents, but I do know why - they look so pretty and are worthless and cumbersome enough to thwart even the pettiest of thieves. I believe that staff recently confirmed we had over 2100 of the objects at the party, which, as far as I'm concerned, is proof that the shininess *is* the intrinsic value.
PS, CTP, we don't really do first posts here and could we please not start now? ;D - Madgical !! hip hip hoooray

Whoa. That is impressive! And a little insane! Completely awesome.
There should be a monument in Toxic Moon commemorating this momentous occasion. Perhaps a 2001-esque monolith in the background? - @Faereluth, love the screen shot. Now I see what the small shiny objects are about. :-)

- ok newbie (or rather oldbie who hasn't been around) question, how do i get to the party?
- I think it was before New Year, when it had 97 hours loaded. If it lasts until the weekend then I just might be able to jump back in.

- Just a note to say that Epic Party is down to just 31 hours! If you're a member of the Party, why not stop in, say hi, and throw a few currants at the Party ATM... and party on!

- Because so many people leave the party chat open, it's almost always "full" so people who are already at the party are the ones that can help out. Or they could leave and let new people get in.

- Oh dear! Can someone invite me to the party, if space ever opens up? ):
- I'd love to come to this party - the moon is the only place I've never been. I'll contribute witty conversation. virtual food, and time on the clock!
- We would love to invite more people to Epic Party! (still about 30 hours on the clock, by the way!) However, we unfortunately can't do this unless people who are in the party but never actually visit the party anymore would kindly leave to make space for new visitors. If this sounds like you, it would be great if you either came and partied some time or opened up a space for sometime new. thanks!
- Toxic Moon is one of the two places in Ur I haven't been to yet, so if spots do open up, please consider sending me an invite. And thanks for doing this cool thing!
